Perry R. Cheatham

Born and raised in Henderson, NC.

Sc.B. Electronic Engineering/Music, Brown University, 1976.

Technical Director, McColl Studios for Electronic Music, Brown University 1975-1979.

Staff Engineer and Crew Chief, Fedco Audio Labs 1976-1979.

Chief Engineer, Sound Trax Recording Studios, 1980-2007.

Perry has spent his entire working life
doing one thing . . . sound.

But when he's not working he likes to keep busy
hiking, skiing, and mostly sailing.

He and his wife Susan can be found most
any day when the wind is blowing. . .

less than 40 and the temperature is above 32. . .
on the Neuse River sailing their 38 ft. cutter "Grace."

Grace has recently been endowed with a full set of "monkey bars" which will keep her pointed in the right direction
while Perry and Susan enjoy the sights.
